This is but the first of a planned series. There will be several albums, most if not all of them double CD's (virtual of course), each with a color for a title and a unified sound or feel or theme. The next one is already set to go once I get the HTML together.

i've got mixed feelings about the tracks selected for the green album --- they are certainly not songs i would necessarily choose, but that's what's fun about this. i have no idea which of my tracks are "good", so it's cool to see what someone else thinks about them. i'd say most of these songs are the wank-iest....just me fucking around with programs i don't understand (typically while drunk). but again, i think it's cool that my junk effects different people in different ways.
anyways, i submitted it to discogs as an "unofficial" release, so hopefully that'll get more hits to your website, mr. coyote.

Well, like I said before, I hope that each album will be a loose concept album, capturing one particular facet of your output. This one was first simply because it was the easiest to put together. The stuff you probably consider more typical will come in time. But honestly, I think you suffer from the artist's curse of being your own worst critic.

Now up: HEMP003 - Solypsis - Purple Album
It's the same thing, only way, way different. This time it's like the old Comedy Central show, "Short Attention Span Theater." 58 shortish tracks forming one cohesive 2.5+ hour whole in a manner not unlike Captain Beefheart's classic Trout Mask Replica. Created when Solypsis asked me to put together a demo compilation representing his "rhythmic noise" output.

Well, I had those three releases set to go when I opened up the site. It took 8 hours last Sunday to upload all the audio, then I started putting the actual pages together. I wanted there to be something worth looking at from the beginning, and I'm caught up now, so things are going to slow down a bit. I did get my first response from the call for material - a couple tracks of Danish breakcore that will probably be on a compilation if I get enough other odds and ends. Keep it coming, folks.

No you're right. I messed up ment 8cm. cute didley dvds (1.4gb). didn't know they existed until the weekend gone - just like litle cd, but loads of space.
little dvd should cut down on postage costs as well!
anyway - sending you the nice and odd cds that james has and the 'unreleased' burnt bacon, right? and the fabulous engine tracks (all on the dvd).
