Cool, good idea. Sorry if I was part of the "bitchiness", totally unintentional.
I'll send the postage money your way tonight. (GMT)

So, where do we stand with reviews etc? Anyone other than Solypsis actually heard the thing yet?!

i know you're a caring guy, max --- how could you not love a face like that? (one made of raw meat and a burt reynolds mustache, that is)
i posted many discs thursday and more on friday, so people should be getting them soon (although media mail is slower than priority mail)...

Mail has been hella slow around here (Indianapolis) for the past couple of months. It's getting on my nerves, as I'm waiting on several packages (not just this one).
No one has yet offered an opinion about me posting CBML2 at Hallo Excentrico, as James has suggested, when I get the CD's, so let me rephrase the question: does anyone object to me doing so? If I don't hear from anyone, I'm going to assume that you don't mind.

Sorry to be a pain in the arse, James, but my email's not working properly. I don't suppose you can pass on the address my brother (CATB) sent you for the vinyl swap thing?

phil at Norman Records (UK) has very kindly agreed to pay shipping on 20 discs to put up for sale in his shop for extremely cheap (he can't give them away seeing as he's paying for shipping and all --- seems fair)
we still don't profit from it, but at least people will now have the option of picking it up at a store.

OK --- everyone's disc should now be on their way except Datarapist/Grideye and Jansky Noise.
thanks to everyone for their generous donations --- i only need about $50 and this will all be over with....
shipping has totalled over $300!! and that was including the fact that toecutter, idiotlust, dave noyze, anti kati, 7U? and hardoff were not my responsibility to ship to and 2 artists live here in chicago.. unbelieveable --- this would have been over $400 for shipping. i never would have guessed --- i only estimated around $100. i am dumb.

Got my CBML2 CD's today! Will rip tonight and post soon. (I see I'm gonna have a lot of typing to do.) Can't wait to hear it, along with the other goodies Solypsis sent along (now I gotta get hold of a microcassette player for Chris Jion's tape!).

No, I'm near L.A. I can use PayPal sans account if necessary, but I'd rather mail someone a check for the postage.

Well, I got the CD's last night, and now I have listened to them, and I'm quite impressed. Yes, they are worthy of comparison to It's Fan-Dabi-Dozi! in their quality and sprawling scope, but personally I think it's more like a System Corrupt release than one by V/Vm Test, and not just because of 7U?'s gotta-love-'em visual touches. It's wonderfully sick/funny, but it's more dark and sinister, and less outright silly. Whereas IFDD is very quintessentially British, and CBML1 very trans-Atlantic, CBML2 shows off DigiVom's Australian and Irish elements and feels more global than ever, like what we've got here is not a scene but a movement. There is some nice acid, IDM and ambient stuff alongside the hardcore, speedcore, mash-ups and piss-takes. People really brought some substantial shit to the table this time - it's less like an experiment, and more like an actual piece of audio artwork. I think a critical mass is forming that could take all this somewhere.

Just got mine today. In the middle of listening to disk1... it's bloody good stuff!
Hope the Tits thing turns out as good as this has. My track seems to be there in it's entirety (no one second lopped off).
What about that Kid CD Rom Adventures!!!? Must say was a stand out on CBML1 aswell.
Very nice work by everyone I've heard so far, well done people.
I think junkshop coyote put it in a nutshell.
