let me tell you all a tale:
a couple of weeks ago i met a guy i know but rarely see by the name of niall. at some point in the conversation i asked niall if he would be interested in buying a cd (cbml4). he was honest and said 'well i generally dont like electronic music, but i'll give it a chance'. i then gave him my number and asked him to tell me what he thought of it, if he got the chance.
skip ahead to 2 weeks ago, niall put cbml4 on at some part he went to recently. apparently some art college poncy wanker went crazy and demanded to know where he had got this compilation from. niall says that he mentioned my name, but nothing else. the art college prick then stole niall's phone and started sending me pretentious poetry which was also trying to be insulting, i knew it wasn't niall doing this. after a while niall sent me a message saying 'sorry some maniac stole my phone at a party'.
the name of this guy is Johnny Aulder. i've had enough of this cunt, and now i have his real number. i've tried reasoning with him and just telling him to fuck off....but nothing works.
so here's what i want to do.....if anyone has an objection to this here within the next week then i wont do it.
i want to put Johnny Aulder's number up here.
if this isn't acceptable to some people, then i'll give the number to anyone who asks for it.
im also going to bulletin it on myspace and write it anywhere i can from now on.
i know im being petty and maybe too bitter about this....but this fuck wont leave me alone, and its time to teach him a lesson.

I certainly DID leave you alone, you're giving a false impression of the situation to people who can only take your word for it. first of all when you first contacted me it wasn't from your own phone, when i tried to call you....you answered the phone and made some crap attempt at annoying noise down the phone. when i stayed on the line until you were finished, you hung up on me.....

it was all meaningless beatnik shite, that meant absolutely nothing to anyone except for yourself.....one of the only things that made sense to me from one of your messages was that the name digital vomit itself was 'a juvenile attempt at self deprication'....i find it far more juvenile to send someone you dont know and have never met texts about how much you hate them and their music, and even more juvenile to steal someones phone to get my number.

actually, i'd like to set the record straight about one more thing.
when i first received a meaningless but insulting message from you johnny, i sent a message back saying something like 'im assuming i know you, who is this?' after the responding message which neither confirmed or denied that i knew you or who you were, i assumed it was a friend of mine (who will remain nameless) who gets very argumentative and non-sensical when he's drunk. i've known this guy long enough to just ignore him when he gets like that and i forgot about those texts.
about a week later, this guy niall (who i mentioned in the original post) sent me a message saying 'sorry some drooling maniac stole my phone when he heard your cd, i hope he didn't send anything too bad'.....i was still assuming that the person who had sent the texts was someone i knew....it didn't make any sense that some random person would send me texts to tell me they hated me.....i asked for the name and subsequently the number of johnny aulder. perhaps it was wrong of me to send you angry texts when i was drunk.......but looking back on it now, what kind of hate filled weirdo is so pissed off when he hears a song or songs he doesn't like that he doesn't just turn the cd off (perhaps break the cd if he's drunk or whatever) but also steals someones phone to text the person that niall got the cd from????
thats the only question i want answered johnny.

As for the repeated cries of "pretentious"...I find it very difficult to stomach that from people twenty or thirty years younger than I am. This is how I speak, it's not exceptional or at least it shouldn't be. What exactly is the pretense?! Is it that constructing actual sentences while on an Internet forum is in itself a conceit? (It probably has descended that far.)
How can you still be satisfied calling people pricks and wankers, it's such a cop-out. ("there's always an easy way out.") Is it a thrill? I don't think I will visit a punk gig. They make me cringe, I used to turn red in the street when I saw little Billy and his gang wearing safety pins. I felt embarrassed for them.

Frankly, you just seem to miss the point.
Firstly your actions towards others are unforgivable. I feel sorry for you having to spend your life embarrassed on behalf of other people.

I received messages from RoboStud apologising for printing my number&making exaggerations about what had happened. He also took the time to forgive me for those mad, bad words I sent.

I do not seek to censor anyone, merely criticise. All of that seems utterly abhorrent to the people here. I have "a problem" with the nature of their expression, yes. If you hear a piece of music you do not like, you may say "that's not my cup of tea" and move on. However if somebody offered you a cup of vomit which you tasted in your ignorance are you going to merely say "not my cup of tea"? No, you will probably throw it at them. In those three short sentences about punk I did mention their style, yes. I was talking about their style then...in those sentences. Style and appearance seems important to them. I will have pink hair and wear safety pins because most people don't. That is their ethos. Their style does not signify anything, it is merely a reflex action, dictated by whatever is seen as the norm. Mom and Dad wear shirts and slacks, my version of rebellion is to wear torn leather jackets, dye my hair pink and throw myself around a sweaty cavern. Aim higher. If you want to subvert the system, start or join a political party. Write a pamphlet. There is something very unsettling about young people channelling their "revolutionary" energy into something so boorish and ineffectual, so superficially "other".
I affirm my view as fact. Here we go again, the same problem! Do I have to preface everything I say with "this is my opinion"? NO! That's taken for granted by everyone who knows how to read. Of course it's my opinion you dolt! keithhic, this is exactly what I upbraided RoboStud for in some text messages I once sent a few months ago: THE RUSH FROM JUDGEMENT. "And telling people about it from what I can see. Doesn't make you right (and I'm not saying I right either), but you affirm your view as fact. " I can't be right, it seems, and you can't be right, for fear of actually saying something! You are not saying that you are right either?! Then what exactly are you saying? You claim to not be "right" and then make a declarative statement: "you affirm your view as fact". Self-defeating relativistic prattle.
I look forward to insulting you all with my "generallisations and hole riddles statements." Christ.
p.s Have the words CENSURE and CENSOR become commutable? No-one told me.
