well, i got an email, the test pressings are on their way, but.. i already received my apology from Music Manufactoring Services, they pressed the B side twice. she's going to rush a repress and that should come through next week she hopes, and then she(or they, im just saying she because my correspondance with Shivonne - except it;s spelt complicated and different). as well, she said hooray's track is very high in the highs and may sound more tinny than we want. aaron brought this up to me, im not sure though how it works if some kind of change needs to happen, but i don;t want to pay for a professional master which will cost alot of $$$$$. so im going to email hooray and see how he feels, we either have to press it as is, or work his track a bit more, but to bring it to how it should sound for a comfortable press it may compromise the intent of hooray's track. but really this should all be done soon if hooray responds fast enough. c'est tout for now.

i made a mistake. they didn;t press the B side twice, they pressed the B side but the A side is just shit.... im not sure what to say about that... im not sure if it was the cast for the vinyl or the vinyl itself that's the problem but aparently it won't even really play. probably just the one pressing that was bad and they'll have to redo it? i don't know. but it should be fine very soon... not as bad as i thought, because if the cast is OK... then we're ok... ok? ok.

oh yeah, my other concern is that i've moved house since we all paid. it would be a safe idea to ask for everyone's definite addresses before mailing anything out in my experience (!)

no. were not being charged it just sets things back for another goddammed week. i will ask everyone for there mailing addresses before anything goes out...mixomatosis still hasn't updated the info on the release either... the artwork was by me and sex is for parents, it's a pressing of 1000 and although it's on the master the track by Datarapist isn't listed there. everyone should have a look at that and tell me if there are any track title issues or artist name what ever because of pseudonymns and what not im always worried im missing something....

 

edit >HAHAHAHA, the reason i made that last statement was because i was like "who the fuck is ethnic j again!?!?!?!?" i almsot shit myself. don't worry it's all on there.

hey. watch what you say... that's the last thing we need... and ethnic j, you should have told me about your idea for the locked grove... i may have charged you the extra 15 some odd bucks it costs for a locked grove, but i'd've done it for sure.
