Just curious to know what people would prefer here. Like last time, I will be ordering the tracks myself, as random selection more than often sounds crap, and the order I received them in wouldn't work as there are some who sent more than 1 track. Plus it would sound shit anyway. However, I'm now in two minds - do I order the tracks:a) as if each disc was a seperate compilation? b) as if the two discs should be listened to directly next to eachother, like they were one single compilation?I hope people understand the distinction I'm trying to make here, I realise it's not completely clear. I'd appreciate input though, as I'm genuinely not sure about this yet. Obviously I'm not ordering anything yet, as I still don't have all the tracks in.

Personally I'd like to see each CD done as if it were a separate comp, so that the mix of tracks is spread out quite evenly between them. CBML2 definitely had a slightly more breakcorey/noisey CD and a more electronicy CD, and that worked out good, but it might be interested to do it differently this tie.

Can you put my track in the middle of one of the discs, as if it were a genuine advert?

Otherwise, I suggest using my patented track-ordering process (as employed on every compilation CD I make, and every one of my own full-length releases): listen to the last five seconds of one track, then find a track whose first five seconds sound best after it. Simple.

I do most of my listening at work, so I have large expanses of time to fill, and I do like going on the proverbial musical journey.  But I'm sure that's a fairly unusual circumstance, and besides, once I've listened to something all the way through and decided I like it, it goes into the MP3 player which is kept in perpetual shuffle.  :-x

Seperate compilations would be good, CBML2 is actually awesome for that reason!

Lee, do I have time to change my track at all?

definitely treat the 2 discs as separate comps, i reckon. i rarely have time to listen to that much music in one sitting.
