why not make it a single disc? you'd probably have a lot of money left over to make the packaging amazing....

The thought had crossed my mind, but...
1) I promised people a 2-disc set, and charged them accordingly. I do NOT want anyone to feel ripped off from this project, especially after the whole Dry Heaves fiasco.
2) This could well be the final CBML disc. It will certainly be the last one I work on. So I want it to (possibly) go out with a real bang, and a really fuck-off amazing 2-disc CD would do it justice I reckon.
3) It's too late anyway - I've had 21 slots in and paid for, I've got 2 extra slots paid for without audio, and I'm apparently to expect a few more slots tomorrow and Monday. And that's all without including my own track, which is still in progress.
All that said - I wish it was just a 1-disc thing now. It would have been a lot easier. But therein lies the challenge, and I'm going to see it through now. I have to - for the label, and for me.

your passion for this project and seeing to it that it is done right are the reasons why you have been a perfect leader for this thing.

I am apparently supposed to expect stuff from the following people by Monday at 11:59pm:

Up to 27, leaving 13. So right now, I'm going to say there are 13 slots remaining on this CD. As well as waiting for the original people to come back to me, I will now be seeking out new people to take part. Anyone new getting involved with the disc will have a week (from confirmation) to submit their tracks and money.
For what its worth, the following people reckon they'll be on board at a later date, for whatever reason:

I currently have a track in my inbox called "Grasshoppers". It has no name attributed to it however. The email address it came from starts "maruosa". Anyone know who this might be? I'm guessing it's Shuko Kubota, but I can't make any assumptions. Cheers.
