OK, we've had V/Vm and Jansky Noise on board in the past. But right now, I'm working on obtaining a HUGE Manchester megastar for this compilation. To give you a bit of a clue, this gentleman is a very big-headed man indeed...
I'm very excited about this.

Still waiting for confirmation, so you'll have to keep waiting. You're all wrong though. Looking at these guesses though, I think you're all going to be very disappointed indeed.
Remember - big headed.

As I said - it's still to be confirmed. I should be getting the email through today.
Got ROBOstud's CD through the post today - top notch stuff there. Also includes a bonus Burnt Bacon, Right? remix, and a track that will go absolutely perfectly before Shanks' Before This Shit. Cheers!

In 2005, Frank wrote an episode of Pingu entitled Bedtime Shadows, available on the DVD Stinky Pingu.
Dude, that's rock'n'roll right there. I mean Frank Sidebottom on this CD would be totally awesome, but really, ask the dude if he knows Pingu personally, and if Pingu wants in, because Pingu could totally knock out some banging artic tunes. You know that little penguin's a hardcore raver.
Track and money in from Thee Crumb today. Sounds like he's got a CATB thing going on there, to an extent. Much darker than any of his offerings though. Tis good stuff though.
7 down, 33 to go...

Once again, the mighty Hooray confounds expectations, by delivering a piece of audio that could very easily have come from an episode of Camberwick Green or Trumpton.
So, we've had a 3-minute kick-drum, a metallic drone, Merzbow-esque piercing noise, and now acoustic guitars.
Hooray, you so have to record an album.

i just heard the news about anna nicole smyth dying.
i guess my track is going to be some kind of weird memorial to her now...
its so fucking weird too, keith sent me that track at random to give me some inspiration.
life really is a glitch.
Just had the track in from Gaeoudjiparl's friend, who I now know to be called Timepoco. His track quite a slow burner, and I reckon it'll probably annoy some people, but I fucking love it - it sounds like Autechre if it were encoded at 2 bits.

Uncivilized - Egg Yolk Swapping - Bananaman (woo!) and Little Britain (spit) sampling noisy stuff. A little bit Shitmat, a little bit Merzbow, a little bit 777. Uncivilized - .....bit - 8 bit/Gameboy acid basslines. Uncivilized - Heterodyne - Radio tuning and classic breakbeats. All three of these tracks incorporate heavy sampling. Junkshop Coyote - Walking Home - The Caretaker, if he was frying eggs. More Negativland-style soundscapes from the other Mr Hilton. Deep - Sunday Drive (Part 4) - The first of four Keith Hic tracks, this sounds a bit like Mogwai if they had a synth-bass. Ironic - This Isn't The Way - Ah, shoegazing. Says it all really. Keith sings in this one. Sounds like Cocteau Twins. Shanks Pony - Before This Shit - The Pony goes off on a hip-hop tangent, with his typical glitching stylings thrown in for good measure. Soto Voce - Live 06 - Erm... God, I've no idea how this is going to fit in. Thanks Keith. Solypsis - Douchechill - Squelchy, glitchy, synthed-up IDM. Truly, this is The Miller at his best since 'Charming Pervert'. ROBOstud - Life's A Glitch - A posthumous tribute to Anna Nicole Smith... recorded before her death. You said it Ruairi - life really is a glitch sometimes. And so's this track. ROBOstud - RuairiSoup (Burnt Bacon, Right?'s Packet Mix) - Another appearance from Mr Hic here, creating sounds like Matt Elliot might if he were trapped in a radiator. ROBOstud - Courtney Love Sucks Cock In Hell - Dark, minimal synth action here, with drones aplenty. Formerly a tribute to Steve Irwin. Thee Crumb - Making History By Not Being Dead - Imagine, if you will, a violent thrash version of Cats Against The Bomb. Because Thee Crumb cleary (if unintentionally) has. Hooray - Storyville - The soundtrack to an episode of Camberwick Green, Trumpton, or any number of 1970s Programmes For Schools broadcasts that never were. Timepoco - 10pm - After finally putting his alarm on the 'snooze' function after 90 seconds, we're treated to some glitchy underwater beats and synth from the Gaeoudjiparl school of music.
Plus, in the coming days and weeks I eagerly anticipate some horrible, horrible noise from ZEROPOINTENERGY, Stuntcock, Pistol Disco and Monopolka, some class songwriting from Wet Nurse, Frank Sidebottom (TBC) and if I am correct, iivix, cut-up nonsense from Big In Albania, DJ Sarah Wilson and Hardoff, on top of some spectacularly daft IDM from, amongst others, The Fez!, Jansky Noise, Datarapist, Alien Hand, DJ Scotch Egg, Wyatt Gurp...
Yes, I think you might be right Keith.

gahh!
i've been offline for 8 days because i was in the process of moving to a bigger apartment.....it's really pathetic how desperately i missed having access the the internet.
anyways....MIXO ----- it's funny that you should heap praise on the track i gave you as i've been working on an alternate track all week (yes, no internet=increased productivity. what a shocker). in fact, i was gonna upload the new one to you today.
yes, i know --- i'm the worst when it comes to second guessing my tracks and making you swap them, but deal with it
