OK, so here we go... Web 2.0 style...The Bloghttp://digitalvomitrecords.blogspot.comThis is for us all to use to update the world about our DigiVom and individual news, gigs, reviews, promos, downloads etc!It looks fairly plain right now, but we can improve the look as we go. The important thing now is for it to be updated fairly regularly, so all our loyal fans read it...Everyone can, and should, be an author... To edit a page, just click on the edit button in the bottom right (after you've joined the site). To create a new page, just create a link to it, by editing a page and adding a link [[[like this]]]. Then exit the edit mode, click on the new link and add stuff to the page! Dead easy.Basically, have a play around. You can mess it up too badly, and even if you do, there's a way to undo all changes, so there's no risk.Join up on the site, and enter the password: supersecretdigivompasswordYou should be able to edit pages etc. straight away!

hmm, dunno how it works, but I think you have to register with the site (as in the wikidot site), and then specifically join the digivom site here:

Then you should see yourself in the members list: http://digitalvomit.wikidot.com/system:members

Try that, if that doesn't work, let me know and I'll try changing the permissions for the site so everyone can edit pages.

cool, you should be a member now... By the way, there are two ways of joining - you can apply for membership (like mixo has) which requires me as an admin to approve you... Or you can put in the pw: supersecretdigivompassword and you should get to be a member without me having to approve you.

seeing as how they are against swearing/offensive language, we should put **** marks in the track titles that contain such dirty words.

i will edit what is there already, but i guess its probably safer if everyone follows suit in the future too. would be a shame if this wiki got deleted just cos of some colourful words.

Nice works guys. I've hardly had a chance to look in here in the last week, so this has all come as a bit of a surprise. Although it's a real pain in the arse for Mitch having to take everything down from Hallo-Excentrico! (good to see that's rising from the ashes as well) I'd like to think we could be onto something with this new format.

BTW, does having a forum with wikidot mean we won't be able to swear on that either? If so, we could just open one last thread on here and get it all out of our systems before we move...

Spam every action I say. I'd rather see it updated regularly with loads of small things than infrequently with only big things, as long as everything relates to the music of digital vomit artists... If it becomes a problem, then we can look at limiting it... I reckon the blog and wiki should both start with as few rules as possible, and then just see what happens as they play out.

Hahaha, I'm not against the idea of inflicting some more on you all... I'll see if I can dig out my tape deck next time I'm in the loft and rip a "worst of"... Ah, tapes. Everything recorded to cassette four track and dubbed to C60s. Moo Moo Cow Cow was so long ago that we didn't have a web page, or even an email address. Oh no, we had a PO Box number. Yeah, sorry my fault for being less than clear on this... There's two steps to being able to edit the wiki... The first is to become a member of the wikidot site as a whole. The second is to then join the digitalvomit.wikidot.com site, once you're a wikidot member. You can join here: http://digitalvomit.wikidot.com/system:join using the password: supersecretdigivompassword

That should work I reckon.
